VICENZA, on the nice clear day of 18 March 2012 and the streets were closed to automibles. The city does this periodically and open the museums to the public with no entrance fees.
The city also provides street entertainment in the main Plaza while the families watch the clowns & gypsies perform and interact with mainly the children. Parents watch, while eating gilato (ice-cream) as their kids enjoy themselves.
It is a day I'll remember for the rest of my life. Fully rewarding and illustrious of how a world can enjoy family values at little expense to everyone.
